Dr. Sarah Renee Langley
Empowering women to limitless success
Dr Sarah Renee Langley stumbled upon her destiny while at a summer camp at the age of 14! “I was the camp counsellor, and I realised I had the gift to counsel, mentor, lead and teach,” recalls Sarah.
Growing up in Philadelphia, USA, Sarah received her degrees in Psychology, Clinical Counseling, and Human Behaviour, becoming the first in her family to receive a PhD. She aspired to impact the lives of those struggling with Mental Health Disorders. Thus, she soon procured a license and board certification from various states to practice, and established her first business as a Clinical Practitioner in 2008.
As she began counseling married women, Sarah found her calling in helping these women develop self-acceptance, self-love, self-worth and self-care, so they could have the confidence and clarity to fulfill their desires without fear, loss or sacrifice. “I knew that in order to help women become truly LIMITLESS in their lives, I had to learn to become LIMITLESS. I needed to search within myself for meaning and purpose, value and worth. I had to DECIDE that I was ‘Limitless’ starting from the inside out, and define my success and happiness on my own terms,” says Sarah.
Today, Sarah is an Award-winning Global Empowerment Speaker, Leadership and Lifestyle Consultant, and a Licensed Clinical Psychotherapist. In addition, she’s also an Author and a TedX Speaker. Through her successful professional development company, LeadHER International, also known as Limitless Success Solutions, Sarah has coached Top Fortune 500 employees on quality leadership and profitable growth strategies to help drive business and organisational success.
“Initially, I did not see myself as an entrepreneur. But after a while, I faced my fears and thought of the bigger picture… transforming lives and being an agent of change worldwide. Thus, I am passionate in what I do as a business owner. I lead with purpose, intention and faith, and my appetite for business rests in the realm of serving, leading and supporting people. I love running my company and establishing it as a force behind helping people become ‘Limitless’,” reveals Sarah.
For nearly 30 years, Sarah has been a trusted mentor, leader and advisor. Being highly sought after for virtual and live stages, she has presented numerous talks on leadership, women’s empowerment and entrepreneurial success at conferences all over the world. Speaking about the passion that drives her, she says, “Seeing people healthy, whole and healed are all points that drive me to serve with purpose. I have this motto – to make people better than I’ve met them, and to leave people better than I’ve found them. I have reached a place in my life where something more than money and ego drive me to do what I do in this world.”
Sarah is especially passionate about helping women become ‘Limitless’, by taking their limits off, tapping their limitless potential and going after their limitless possibilities. In doing so, she has been bestowed with various international honours – Women’s Ladies League for Exceptional Women and Leader of Excellence, and The Iconic Woman of Creative Living Award, both, from the Women’s Economic Forum; Women’s Empowerment Award from the National Coalition of 100 Black Women; and many others.
No successful journey is achieved without its share of challenges. How does Sarah face hers? “Through prayer and meditation. My faith from my mother Mary too helped me in my pursuits,” answers Sarah. She is quick to add that self-care is essential so that she can be the best version of herself for others: “I know when it is time for me to work and then make time for myself. Being centered is important to me for what I do, so that I can take the necessary steps to ensure my effectiveness, healthiness, and wellbeing, as I serve and set the example for others to do the same.”
This knowledge served Sarah well during the pandemic, when after a brief lull, she came up with different things to hoist her business. “I hosted virtual seminars and workshops for months, created books and other information regarding self-care, self love, and striving past the pandemic. That led to getting booked for services, speaking, and inevitably, clients. I have done better during the pandemic than in other years prior. I became immensely intentional and specific with my goals and gave myself timelines on fulfilling them, as well as capitalising on the opportunities to serve First Responders. I learned to trust my gut.. it never lies,” sums up Dr Sarah Langley.
